Not even if Mum says so. Or Dad. Or if Grandpa says so. Not while there’s a drip… Not while those dripping drops are tears… dragon’s tears… the tears of a dragon who lives in the ceiling… No. Absolutely not quite yet. Nightfall is a contemporary theatre work created for young audiences. With puppetry, projection and sound, Nightfall enchants intrepid explorers, wistful-would-be-poets in waiting, and, their parents. Shannon performed and puppeteered in this work. She also co-devised and co-creative produced Nightfall with Tamara Searle, whom she has a long history of collaboration with. Nightfall's premier season was at La Mama Courthouse Theatre, 9-15 July 2018. Audience Feedback: "Miyazaki on stage," "Finely paced, richly detailed, charming and immersive," "Subtle, artful and beautiful". |
